Iconic British Brand Burberry, opened an innovative store on Regent Street during London Fashion Week 2013. This is largest Burberry store in the World and is now called Burberry World Live.
The newly innovative store bridges the gap between Fashion and Technology, offering an entirely new shopping experience. Featuring over 500 speakers, 100 screens and NO POINT OF SALE registers. Clients can expect to make a purchase with a handheld device and with ease. Many Burberry stores are already using Apple Technology such as the iPad, Apple TV, and iMacs.
Another key Burberry locations will soon be renovated around this “Burberry World Live” Concept. All the screens in the stores will be streaming live fashion shows, events from around the globe as well as videos of the production process and more.
Currently, Burberry has a presence in Beverly Hills, CA on Wilshire Blvd, but that has signed a new lease for a prime location on Rodeo Drive. The New Flagship store is expected to open Fall 2014, which then the Wilshire location will close.
Angela Ahrendts departure from Burberry last year 2013, comes at no surprise. As the former CEO of Burberry, she transformed the brand into a sexy modern fashion label. Because of her innovative ways of infusing technology into Burberry’s DNA, Angela already had a strong relationship with Apple.
